Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy describes the terms under which you may cancel your ChatKart subscription and request refunds. ChatKart is a SaaS application operated by Ardhanex Tech Pvt Ltd.
1. Subscription Plans
ChatKart offers the following subscription tiers:

2. Cancellation
2.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time by:
- Going to Settings in the ChatKart app and downgrading to the Free plan, or
- Uninstalling ChatKart from your Shopify admin panel
2.2 Effect of Cancellation
- Your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing cycle.
- After cancellation, your account will revert to the Free plan with limited features.
- No further charges will be applied after cancellation.
- Your data (conversations, templates, campaigns) will be retained for 30 days after downgrade. After 30 days, data exceeding Free plan limits may be archived.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 Subscription Refunds
Since ChatKart subscriptions are billed through the Shopify billing system:
- Refunds for the current billing period are available if requested within 7 days of the charge date.
- Refund requests made after 7 days of the charge will not be eligible, but you can cancel to prevent future charges.
- Partial-month refunds are not provided for mid-cycle cancellations.
3.2 AI Credit Refunds
AI Credits purchased via one-time payments:
- Unused credits are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of purchase.
- Partially used credit packs are eligible for a pro-rata refund (based on unused credits) within 7 days of purchase.
- Credits that have been fully consumed are not refundable.
3.3 Free Plan
The Free plan has no charges and therefore no refunds apply.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us with:
- Your Shopify store URL
- The charge or transaction you wish to refund
- Reason for the refund request

We will process eligible refund requests within 5-7 business days. Refunds are issued through the original payment method (Shopify billing or payment gateway).
5. Exceptions
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Account suspension due to violation of our Terms of Service or WhatsApp's policies
- Failure to use the service during the billing period (non-use does not constitute grounds for a refund)
- WhatsApp API outages or limitations imposed by Meta (outside our control)
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
